A number of civil servants in Bandung are retired, this is the message from the Mayor of Bandung

Mayor of Bandung Yana Mulyana hopes that the State Civil Apparatuses (ASN) who have entered retirement will continue to work. Mainly can continue to spread benefits to the surrounding environment.

This hope was conveyed by Yana Mulyana when releasing the retirement of civil servants from the Bandung City Government for the period October 2022-January 2023 at the Bandung City Hall, Wednesday 30 November 2022.

"We are sure that with your passion, loyalty, expertise and knowledge, you can continue to contribute to the city of Bandung and the environment," said Yana.

Not to forget, Yana appreciated and thanked ASN who had devoted their best while still on duty. Moreover, the service period that has been missed reaches tens of years.

"Thank you for your dedication in making efforts to build the city of Bandung for the better. On behalf of myself, I also apologize if there are things that are not pleasing," he said.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Bandung City Government Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency, Hani Nurrosjani said, retired ASN in the period 1 October 2022 - 1 January 2023 totaled 322 people.

As of October 1 2022 there were 98 people and as of November 1 2022 there were 80 people.

Meanwhile, starting December 1, 2022 there were 88 people and starting January 1, 2023 there were 56 people.

"This event is a form of appreciation and respect, as well as love for all civil servants in the Bandung City Government who have reached the retirement age limit. During their time of duty, they have contributed a lot to the progress of the Bandung City Government," he said.

Meanwhile, the Retired ASN Representative, Taat Tagore expressed his gratitude to the Bandung City Government.

"For 33 years we have served as civil servants is a choice. We are grateful and have never regretted it," said Taat.

"There are many ups and downs. We realize that it is not the length or height of a position but how much it contributes to the city government. We are very grateful and apologize," he added. (sya)**
