Quattrick WTP, Bandung City Government Wins an Award from the Ministry of Finance

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) won an award from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance) for achieving Unqualified Opinion (WTP) 4 times in a row.

Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung meraih penghargaan dari Kementerian Keuangan (Kemenkeu) RI, Kamis 1 Desember 2022. 

 

The award was given Plt. Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of West Java Province, Arif Wibawa representing the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani to the Mayor of Bandung Yana Mulyana at the Bandung City Hall, Jalan Dalem Kaum, Thursday 1 December 2022.

It should be noted, the Bandung City Government won a WTP assessment from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) four times in a row (quattrick) in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Yana said that the award that was won by the City of Bandung was the result of hard work and collaboration from all levels to create transparency in regional financial management.

"All this time, the Bandung City Government continues to strive to carry out its obligations in order to manage it in a transparent, accountable, efficient and effective manner. The WTP opinion is appropriate for the government," explained Yana after receiving the award.

Nevertheless, Yana admitted that she would continue to improve the financial management of the Bandung City Government. Starting from asset management and all material matters in accordance with government accounting standards.

"We will continue to make improvements. One of them is the problem of assets, but we will continue to fix it. Until 2021, we will receive another WTP. Thank God, today we were given another bonus by the Minister. Hopefully this can motivate us to continue to do better," she said.

Meanwhile, Plt. The Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of West Java Province, Arif Wibawa conveyed, this award was a mandate from the Ministry of Finance for the achievement of the City of Bandung WTP 4 times in a row.

"We came here to convey the mandate from the Minister. Because the city of Bandung received WTP in a row," said Arif.

"Basically the APBD allocation comes from the Regional Government and there are parts from the center that are used responsibly for the expected welfare of the community," he added. (sya)**
