RT and RW Forums Ready to Succeed in the 2024 Election

This was stated by Acting Mayor of Bandung, Ema Sumarna at the RW Forum Gathering Activities throughout the City of Bandung, at Tegalega Square, Saturday 20 May 2023.

"We are increasingly optimistic that in implementing development in the city of Bandung, RT and RW as protectors and pioneers will become strategic partners," he said.

"RT and RW are able to handle various problems, including the realization agreed in the development planning document. Because, continued Ema, RT and RW know the needs of the community," he said.

Currently in the city of Bandung there are 9,941 RTs and 1,594 RWs.

Entering a political year, continued Ema, RT and RW are able to protect and maintain conduciveness in their respective regions.

"This year is entering a political year. Next year the legislative and presidential elections to the simultaneous local elections. This support is coordinated by the RT RW, I am optimistic that 87 percent of our voters will participate in the democratic party. This condition is getting better, we are optimistic that it will be safer, more comfortable and calm down," said Emma.

In the same place, Chairperson of the Bandung City RW Forum, Lily Maulana, admitted that she was ready to serve the community. For him, reconciling society is the duty of the organization.

"We are obliged to serve the people of Bandung City, we are also obliged to reconcile residents," he said.

He added, as a leader in the smallest area, RW has a variety of community characters. So that it must be served humanely with sincere intentions.

"As heads of RT and RW, serving residents with various characters in each region. With that character, RT and RW are able to face all of this with sincere intentions of worship," he said.

Regarding cleanliness to security, continued Lily, her party is ready to contribute to helping the government in every problem.

"We are ready to help with the garbage problem as well as security. In the near future, facing the holding of elections, we are part of the implementation," he said.

Meanwhile, the Bandung Police Chief, Kombes Pol Budi Sartono appreciated the presence of the RW Forum. That his party has collaborated to maintain conduciveness in the city of Bandung with the presence of the RW Police.
