To Prevent Sexual Violence, Bandung City Government Will Hold a Panel Discussion Presenting a Number of Experts
Sexual violence is a form of crime against humanity that can occur in every gender identity, various age groups, both in real space and in virtual/cyber space, in the scope of personal relations, households, work relations, relations in the sphere of education, organizations, the public, including which occur in situations of conflict, natural disasters, and other special situations.
The presence of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS) is a bright spot for handling sexual violence cases from a more victim perspective, thereby guaranteeing the rights of victims of sexual violence to treatment, protection and recovery.
Through the campaign activities 16 Days of Anti-Violence against Women (Campaign 16 HAKtP), which is commemorated every year internationally (25 November - 10 December), the Bandung City Government will hold a Panel Discussion at the Rosada Auditorium, Bandung City Hall, Monday, 27 November 2023 at 09.00 WIB to 09.00 WIB. finished.
Starting with a keynote speech delivered by the Head of the Bandung City National Unity and Politics Agency, Drs. H. Bambang Sukardi, M.Si, with the topic of the Relationship between Fulfilling the Rights of Sexual Violence Victims and Political Resilience in the City of Bandung.
This topic will be discussed by 4 (four) panelists, namely:
