The land parcel certificate was handed over by the Head of the Bandung City BPN Office, Nugraha to the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono at the Bandung City Hall, Thursday 21 December 2023.

Obtaining certificates consisted of 805 fields from Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) activities spread across 6 subdistricts, namely Babakan Ciamis subdistrict, Braga subdistrict, Cihapit subdistrict, Kebon Pisang subdistrict, Merdeka subdistrict, and Tamansari subdistrict plus 18 certificates from routine registration.

A total of 805 Certificate Fields in 6 Subdistricts consist of Certificates for Government Offices, Community Health Centers, Parks, Elementary School Education Facilities, Roads, Land used by the Community (rental) and Archives of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) and the Finance and Assets Agency Regional (BKAD).

Meanwhile, 18 certificate areas consist of public infrastructure at the Kawaluyaan housing complex, Rancacili Public Cemetery and green open spaces in Karang Pamulang Village. This includes the submission of electronic certificates for land parcels at Bandung City Hall.

Regarding this, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, said that certification of government assets is crucial. This is to provide agrarian legal certainty for government-owned assets.

"We want all city government assets to have agrarian legal certainty, so they have certificates. The handover of asset certificates in the form of electronic certificates is legal confirmation of the City Government's assets. Hopefully in the future the legal position will be more legitimate," said Bambang.

He said that the Bandung City Government would continue to synergize with the Bandung City BPN to accelerate the certification of government assets.

Not only that, regarding the electronic certificates given for City Hall land plots, he also encouraged improving the quality of land data so that electronic certificates were implemented on a massive scale.

"We are communicating with the head of the BPN Office to accelerate the certification of city government assets. In the future, electronics will be faster and we will focus more on running the government," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bandung City BPN Office, Nugraha, expressed his gratitude to the Bandung City Government for the synergy that has been established in improving the quality of land data and government asset certification so that it runs smoothly.

"I would like to thank the City Government for improving the quality of data and certification of City Government assets," he said.

"One of BPN's tasks is to improve the quality of land data. Yesterday we received assistance from BKAD to improve the quality of defense data apart from land certification," he added.

He said that the city of Bandung is currently one of the national pilot projects for controlling electronic certificates. So it is important to validate data on all land parcels in the city of Bandung.

"We are a pilot project in issuing electronic certificates. One of them is by improving land quality through validation, because for electronic certificates the data must first be valid in terms of history, physical and control," he said.

In the same place, the Head of Bandung City BKAD, Agus Slamet Firdaus, said that the Bandung City Government's land assets cover an area of 18,920,607 square meters which is divided into 17,267 plots.

Of this amount, 5,816,720 square meters have been certified, with a total of 12,099 plots or 30.74 percent of land assets that are certified.

"Thank God, in 2023, the control of asset certificates will exceed the target, by 750 areas," he said. (rob)**
