Bandung City Government Holds Free Homecoming, Save the Date and Register Immediately!
The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) is again providing buses for free homecoming to a number of cities. A total of 234 seats are available for travelers.
Plt. Kadishub Bandung City, Asep Kuswara, revealed that free homecoming registration will open on March 15. Registration is carried out offline.
Meanwhile, his departure will take place on April 6.
"We, the Bandung City Transportation Agency, will hold a free homecoming ahead of Idul Fitri 1445 H with a total of 234 seats," he said.
The following is a list of free homecoming routes for Eid al-Fitr 1445 H:
1. Bandung - Surabaya via south route, 1 unit (40 seats)
2. Bandung - Surabaya via northern route, 1 unit (40 seats)
3. Bandung - Jogja 1 unit (44 seats)
4. Bandung - Kuningan 1 unit (50 seats)
5. Bandung - Tasik 2 units (60 seats).
Apart from providing free homecoming buses, the Bandung City Transportation Agency will also inspect the safety of public vehicles (ramp checks) that will serve the homecoming route.
The Bandung City Transportation Department will hold ramp checks at the Cicaheum and Leuwipanjang Terminals. Including a number of tourist bus pools.
"14 days before Eid, we will have a ramp check. We will deploy members to each pool. Because we are worried that there will be tourist buses that will not fulfill their roadworthy and operational obligations," he explained.
