One of them, Hurry Sae Melati Ligar RW 10, Pasirwangi Village, Ujungberung District, Bandung City. Buruan Sae, chaired by Ujang Setiawan, is able to provide economic value for residents.

"Chilli and chili peppers are soaring in the market. Here they are cheaper because they are managed by the residents," said Ujang, who is also the Chair of RW 10, Pasirwangi Village.

Ujang revealed that his management, Buruan Sae, no longer buys fertilizer. Because fertilizer is obtained from organic waste management.

"We use kitchen waste, like Kang Empos, we sort household waste. Organic waste is sorted, we don't need to throw it at the TPS, we process it into compost. The results are good compared to buying fertilizer outside," he explained on the Bandung Public Relations Joint Podcast Activity.

Buruan Sae in Pasirwangi Village is one of 378 Buruan Sae registered with the Bandung City Food and Agriculture Security Service (DKPP).

Ujang said that even though it was only founded in 2022, the contribution of Buruan Sae that he built has been quite beneficial.

"We give every harvest, vegetables such as spinach and kale, to Posyandu activities," he said.

Apart from vegetables, continued Ujang, Buruan Sae Melati Ligar also breeds catfish as a protein product in the area.

In the same place, the Head of Pasirwangi Village, Meli Susanti, revealed that the reason behind the presence of Buruan Sae in Pasirwangi Village was because the area was not a food producing area.

Due to this, Meli embraced the community and invited them to work together to provide food security that could at least be consumed by local residents.

"We are socializing this program to the community, that the aim of Buruan Sae is food security. So that residents can grow their own produce and enjoy their own results naturally and economically, using them for their own needs," he explained.

He hopes that Buruan Sae will be able to increase economic value in the region. So that people have income from these results.

"Apart from helping stunting, we can also produce economic value here. When the harvest can be sold, residents are enthusiastic about buying it," he said. (yan)**
